I have to say, I love good days. But I mean, who doesn't?! But I especially love good days when they're part of good weeks. Take this week for example [of course]:
I start off the week with a Flashing Lights concert. Woo rock! Then, I had like NO classes this week. Film studies was cut short on Monday night, I skipped all my classes on Tuesday, only went for 2 hours on Wednesday and another 3 hours today. Talk about a breeeeeze. I finished my essay last night... and it was GOOD. Well, moderate anyway. Oh, and I did I mention Iain and I went out to dinner twice this week? hehe... East Side Mario's new veggie burgers are YUMMY!
So there's the good week part. And then there's today. Thursdays are always fun for me cause they're the start of a weekend, but it was especially good today cause I had like no classes. Soooo... what do I do to celebrate? Oh yes. I went shopping. But not in the traditional 'girlie-girl' shopping sense cause I never do that. I went superduperfun shopping.
I got me some be-U-ti-ful markers that I am going to use in a few minutes to write a kickass comic [shh... it's a secret about what it is... but there's a pretty damn good clue on the Message Board. Yay! I also got this funky blue nail paint stuff to paint some supercool designs on my nails for this weekend [and the future]. It's supernifty and waaaaaaay cheaper than nail polish, so that's what I'm wearing from now on! hehehe... THEN!
I went and put in my film for one-hour developing and, having DUH an hour to kill, I blew some more cash. Woo! I got the kickass New Pornographers CD which I'm listening to now. I was gonna get the new Ronnie Hawkins, but Kurtybird won out. Yeaaaaah it kicks. Hahaha... then I spent like 45 minutes in the bookstore looking at this supersweet Vegan cookbook that I really really really want to buy now. It was making me giddy just reading it in the bookstore. Am I a geek? Oh yes. No doubt at all. Did I mention sweet Aileen sent me her kickass Matt Good WinAmp skin last night? ooooooooooooh heaven!
Anyway, let me be amy-modest for a moment and say... I take the best fucking pictures in the world. Seriously. I pick up my pictures... and I literally shocked myself with how good they were. Yes, I'm pulling an ego on this one... but just wait until you see them! You'll be on your knees beggin' me to photograph your next show, Dakota Smith. err... I mean... Yes! They rock your socks! haha. I have to scan them to share the utter perfection of them. Yummmmmmmy.
And that, my friends, is that. And I haven't even been to a show yet today, and I'm this happy? hehehe... And Eric Eggleston is playing too! Woo! hehe... did I mention I started my day by dancing around my room to The Cure's 'It's Friday I'm In Love'? Yes, I'm aware it's not Friday... but still!
And now... now I go to draw that silly comic that's floating around in my head. It's gonna make you giggle, I promise, if not burst out laughing at some parts. WOO!
