okay, so I just got back from a superbly perfect sloan show. well, if it wasn't perfect, it was the crowd's fault. ooooooooh man. everything from laying blame [yes, laying blame!] to ... underwhelmed. they actually did it! yowza! the soccer chant was not existent... until mare and I kicked everyone's asses into doing it for the encore. chris thanked us for it. haha. what can I say? it was a perfect night. we had the best timing possible, arriving just when starling came on over the p.a. and were able to make a beeline to the front... where we stayed. alright!
mike o'neill kicked ass... a little uneventful, but still fun. woo camera shy! benn was playing with him, but no ian or rob... which was sad, but still a supercool set. and sloan. sloan sloan sloan. what can I say except... soccer chant rules! woo! mind you, we were the only ones who knew it, but that's okay! haha. the crowd caught on eventually. i'm still coming down from the show... and there's another one a week from now! i'll recover before then... maybe.
oh and of course what happens? the security guard starts hitting on me. from the second we got there... until we left. i'm not exaggerated unfortunately. it's flattering, but... ack! ah well. he was nice at least... and knew who starling was to boot! alright!
alrighty, enough pointless sloan babble. leave it to me. i'll be more coherent tomorrow, i promise. patty provided many a joke... as per usual. i'll keep the bashing to a minimum here cause i did enough of it tonight to last a while... at least until next week anyway.
